SEPTEMBER ASTROLOGY FORECAST 2024
WELCOME TO SEPTEMBER!
SEPTEMBER IS THE TOTAL AND COMPLETE OPPOSITE TO AUGUST’S ENERGY, SO MUCH SO IT MIGHT EVEN GIVE US A BIT OF WHIPLASH. WHEREAS AUGUST WAS THE REBELLIOUS COLLEGE STUDENT, SEPTEMBER IS THE WISE SENIOR CITIZEN CURLED UP BY THE FIRE READING A BOOK REFLECTING ON LIFE’S PATH, LESSONS, CHAPTERS, AND PLEASURES. I EVEN LISTENED TO MY GRANDFATHER’S CLASSICAL RECORDS WHILE WRITING THIS ONE.
NOT ONLY DO WE START ECLIPSES ON THE PISCES/VIRGO AXIS WHICH INTRODUCES THEMES OF 2025 INTO THE MIX, WE ALSO HAVE MARS ENTERING COZY CANCER, PLENTY OF LETTING GO OF PAST RELATIONSHIP PATTERNS WITH THE SOUTH NODE CONJUNCT VENUS IN LIBRA, DECLUTTERING, AND FINALLY THE BIG KAHUNA OF THE YEAR–PLUTO RX-ING BACK INTO CAPRICORN FOR THE LAST TIME IN 16 YEARS. WE ARE OLDER, WE ARE WISER, WE AREN’T BORING (AUGUST REMINDED US OF THAT) BUT WE ALSO KNOW BETTER NOW.

September 1st, 2024 – Pluto Re-Enters Capricorn
On September 1st, 2024, Pluto returns to Capricorn. Pluto will be spending a few weeks in Capricorn for the last time since 2008 before moving into Aquarius FOR GOOD on November 19th, 2024 to remain there until 2044.

In a nutshell we are closing out huge 16 year cycles wherever Pluto has transformed the Capricorn areas of our charts at the same time we are aware of what that Pluto in Aquarius cycle is shaping up to be.
Here we are straddling two worlds with one foot in letting go of the old and the other not quite 100% ready to embrace the new but feeling it on the horizon.
September 2nd, 2024 – New Moon In Virgo
On September 2nd, 2024, we have a New Moon at 11° Virgo. The New Moon is opposite Saturn and square Jupiter.
This moon will have us reflecting on “is this the dream life I want to build or does something need to change?”
I always like to view the Virgo New Moon each year as THAT moon. The one where we take a practical look at our lives and say “what steps have I not taken yet that I KNOW I’m meant to? What is holding me back?”
With a square to Jupiter it might even feel like luck and blessings are blocked if you don’t and with an opposition to Saturn we are reminded that heaven on earth is only anchored and built if you’re existing in the 3D just as much as other realms.
September 2nd, 2024 – Uranus Goes Retrograde
On September 2nd, 2024, Uranus goes retrograde at 27° Taurus.
What integration is there from the last shake up in the time Uranus has been direct? Uranus loves to throw new things at us to remind us that change is the only constant (especially in regularly earthy stable Taurus). But now it’s a question of what new groundwork did that shakeup bring me?

September 3rd, 2024 – Mars Square Neptune
On September 3rd, 2024, Mars in Gemini is square Neptune in Pisces. This is a POWERFUL firework final anaretic degree square because it happens at 29°.
Neptune has been in Pisces since 2011. What stories are you closing out there? What has this time taught you about frequency, other dimensions, but also illusions?
With a square to Mars in Gemini it might feel like there is a block to your dreams coming true or something putting a damper on your action to make that reality in real time…but with this one honestly it’s a very quick transit so I say feel your feelings, assess what’s coming up but don’t take it TOO seriously as your overall world view, just notice what blind spots may be coming up for you to address. You might even choose to zone out a bit.
September 3rd, 2024 – Venus Conjunct South Node
If Mars square Neptune wasn’t enough to reflect on, Venus is conjunct the South Node at 6° Libra on the same day.
What relationship, 1:1 patterns, beauty, financial patterns are past their expiration date?
Depending on where this falls in your chart, especially if you have Libra placements, it may feel a little ouchy and tender. Notice what your heart is pointing to. What empowers you for NOW? (Looking at the opposite Aries axis.)
Is it doing things alone and discovering more of yourself? Is it going for a solo adventure or date? Is it reconciling with past patterns and saying no thank you as you move forward?
Be gentle and kind, especially off the backs of Pluto going back into Capricorn this is a lot to process, clear, and purge.
Try a little decluttering to feel better if this one hits you.
September 4th, 2024 – Mars Enters Cancer
On September 4th, 2024 Mars enters Cancer.
Mars is out of knife juggling Gemini and into cutting up vegetables in the kitchen Cancer.
Here Mars has a drive to feel cozy, homey, even cuddly. How do our emotions drive our actions? How can you listen to your emotional responses as a steering wheel for driving the car this Mars in Cancer season? (But without losing control of course.)
A little less chaos a little more this FEELS good, secure, safe.
September 9th, 2024 – Mercury Enters Virgo
On September 9th, 2024, Mercury enters Virgo, its favorite sign.
Mercury lovessss Virgo! Here it is able to express itself cleanly, in an organized way, and in favor of improvement.
How can you work with this energy to edit out what you don’t need and make more space for what you do?
This is especially great for business owners when it comes to editing books or other content, getting clear on your messaging, and paring down what you want to say and how you want to say it.
September 15th, 2024 – Venus Trine Jupiter
On September 15th, 2024, Venus (at 20° Libra) is trine Jupiter (at 20° Gemini).
This is a LOVELY transit!! And honestly I think we deserve it after all the underworld work Venus has been through with the south node in Libra.
What new doors are opening when it comes to love, beauty, harmony, money? Maybe through means of connecting, networking, and communicating?
Take today to ENJOY and bask in this beautiful energy.
September 18th, 2024 – Full Moon Eclipse in Pisces
On September 18th, 2024 we have a Full Moon and Lunar Eclipse at 25° Pisces.
The Full Moon is conjunct Neptune (at 28° Pisces), and it is sextile Uranus in Taurus and Pluto in Capricorn.
I think this is going to be a watershed eclipse that is a total and complete game changer and in some really flowing ways! Of course in the word game changer is CHANGE and there’s plenty of that but it’s bound to move the needle for us FOR SURE both collectively with the outer planets in conversation and individually wherever it’s happening in our own charts.
Personally this is over my midheaven so I’m curious to see what happens.
Considering this is our first Pisces eclipse this is not the end of a story but the beginning of a new one even if that new beginning IS connected to completing longer older cycles.
“Every new beginning comes from some other beginning’s end” comes to mind.
September 22nd, 2024 – Sun Enters Libra
On September 22nd, 2024, Sun enters Libra. This is the Autumnal Equinox too.

September 23rd, 2024 – Venus Enters Scorpio
On September 23rd, 2024, Venus enters Scorpio.
Here Venus wants to go DEEP. It can be a little obsessive, a little mysterious, even seductive.
Allow Venus in Scorpio to reveal hidden layers.
September 26th, 2024 – Mercury Enters Libra
On September 26th, 2024, Mercury enters Libra.
Here mercury is interested in a win win when it comes to communication. With the south node in Libra however we may see the opposite and a lack of decorum. OR you may be encouraged into choosing a side versus staying neutral.
Be open minded as you navigate conversations both internally and externally but also keep your POV front and center as you do so.
